The International Reporting Program is the result of a $1 million donation from Alison Lawton and the Mindset Social Innovation Foundation. Specific IRP projects have also received generous support from Mitacs, as well as from individual donors. The goal of the IRP is to grow into a larger, more ambitious Global Reporting Centre, which would continue teaching international reporting, but would also bring together some of the top global journalists to tackle major projects on under-cover global issues.
