How It Works

Each year, the International Reporting Program partners with major media to take on a story that might not otherwise not be covered. A team of IRP fellows work with faculty members to find a topic, partner with local stakeholders, and travel to report and document stories that will be turned into written, audio, video and/or multimedia projects. The yearlong program offers students invaluable learning opportunities, and has produced award-winning journalism. The raw material collected in the field is storied in a publicly-accessible creative commons library, and is available for non-commercial use. All projects adhere to an internal Code of Ethics.
